Matt Marshall - Founder & Managing Director
With over 15 years of experience in recruitment and law, Matt has built his career at the intersection of people, and professional service. He began his time in recruitment working for an established global recruitment corporation, where he developed a deep understanding of multiple talent markets, search strategy, and the commercial drivers behind successful hiring.
During this time, Matt also studied to convert his UK legal qualifications, and he eventually became admitted as an Australian Lawyer (Supreme Court of NSW, and the High Court of Australia).
In 2015, Matt founded Greysilver with a clear mission: to create a more bespoke and relationship-driven recruitment model; one that delivered a premium, personal, and consultative service to clients and candidates alike.
Matt is known for his direct communication style, market insight, and ability to align the right people with the right opportunities. He partners closely with clients to understand not just the role, but the broader business objectives behind every hire. For candidates, he provides guidance, clear & honest feedback, and long-term career support.
